Frequently
Asked
Questions

If you're unsure or concerned about getting started, this FAQ section is designed to answer your most common questions quickly and clearly.

If you have any other questions, feel free to email, DM, or call me! I'm here to ensure your experience is smooth, secure, and easy.

General Concerns:

Q: Do you offer refunds?

A: Yes, absolutely! I offer full refunds, for any reason, at any time, no questions asked.

Q: How can I trust that you'll actually refund me?

A: I don't want your money unless you're happy. My livelihood depends on great word-of-mouth. I will make it as easy as possible to receive a full refund if you request it :D

Q: What if I don’t trust your taste or professionalism yet?

A: Listen to my work on the "Audio Examples" page to get a taste of what I can do! If you have any concerns, DM, email, or text me using the contact info in the "Work With Me" section.

Q: I want my music to stand out and not sound cookie-cutter - will it be unique?

A: ABSOLUTELY! My job is to understand your song to the deepest level possible, and mix it exactly how you want. Your vision is the north star. I help us get there.

Q: What if I don’t know exactly what I want yet?

A: That’s totally fine - and actually expected. You don’t need to have it all figured out. Most artists don’t! We'll take time to figure out exactly what you want, then work closely together to make sure it's exactly how you want it.

Q: I don’t want to deal with long waits for revisions.

A: You won’t have to! My clients would vouch for me: revisions are fast.

You also get 2 free "Live Revision Sessions" where we make changes together in real time. No matter what, we'll get it right fast so you stay on schedule.

Before Sending Files:

Q: I feel embarrassed or worried about sending my files or making mistakes.

A: Trust me, I've seen. it. all.

Nothing you do will ever surprise me. I'm not here to judge. I’m here to help. All you have to do is show up. I'll guide you through any questions you have, and provide you with recourses to make this safe, clear, and easy. Ask anything, send anything. Nothing’s ever a hassle, I promise :)

Q: I don't know how to send files or split my song into multi-tracks. What should I do?

A: I'll provide video tutorials for any DAW you have. That way the experience stays fun and easy.

Q: What if I need help or get stuck on something?

A: At any point in the process, you can call, text, email, or DM me; whatever feels easiest for you. Ask as many questions as you need. I’ll walk you through anything, step by step.

Q: What if my recording quality is too poor to make mixing worthwhile?

A: Don’t worry, this is more common than you think! It doesn’t mean your song is a lost cause. A great mix can do a lot: clean things up, shape the tone, and give your track power and clarity; even if the raw recording isn’t perfect.

If something in the recording is holding it back, I’ll tell you right away and help you fix it fast. I’ll meet you where you’re at and make the most out of what you’ve got - so nothing slows your music down.

During the File Submission Process:

Q: I don’t have a lot of time - how long will sending files take?

A: Just a few clicks!

  1. Render your song into multi-tracks and put them in a folder.

  2. Name the folder clearly: (Artist Name, Song Title, BPM, Key).
Example: Zane, The Ghost Kid, Learning, 113BPM, A# Major

  3. After we settle on pricing, I'll send you a Dropbox Link.

  4. Drop your folder in there - and boom, you're done!

And if anything feels confusing, I’ll guide you through the whole thing step by step.

Q: Can I send reference tracks, or will you figure out the sound on your own?

A: Absolutely! Reference tracks are more than welcome. Send as many as you want, and let me know what you love about them! I'll make sure to give that energy to your song.

Before the Mix is Completed:

Q: I'm afraid the mix won't sound right or capture the feeling I want.

A: That’s one of the biggest fears artists have, and one I hear all the time before we work together. Before I touch anything, I take the time to understand what you want your song to feel like through calls, DM's, and the reference tracks you send. Here, we'll get crystal clear on every detail. And if you don’t know how to explain it, I’ll help you figure it out.

You also get unlimited free revisions to ensure you get the best possible mix for your song. No matter what, we'll figure it out.

Q: I'm scared of losing creative control or not being able to make decisions about my song.

A: My favorite successful clients have had this same concern. The last thing I want is for you to feel like your song is being taken out of your hands

This is your song. Your ideas and vision are all that matter. If you want something done, I will do it. No matter what, you have complete control over how your song feels and sounds.

Q: Can I sit in on the mix session, or only for revisions?

A: I don’t do the initial mix live. When you’re listening to a half-finished mix, it’s hard to tell what’s working and what’s not, and early feedback can actually steer us in the wrong direction.

Your notes will be my bible as I mix your song. When it's time to refine, we'll work together and get it right!

Q: What if the process takes too long and delays my release schedule?

A: Totally valid concern. If you’ve got a release coming up, you need someone who keeps things moving.

That’s why my process is built for speed, clarity, and flow. If you’ve got a date in mind, I’ll make sure we stay on track from day one. Once you send the first payment, I get to work immediately. With live revision sessions, you won’t be waiting around for small changes. We’ll knock them out in real time.

I'll keep communication wide open. You’ll get regular updates, and you can always reach me by text, email, DMs, or direct call; whatever works best for you. I take deadlines seriously. If something slips, I’ll own it, fix it fast, and keep your release moving.

After Receiving the First Mix:

Q: I'm worried I won't like the first mix or won't know how to explain the changes I want.

A: This is one of the most common worries I hear, and it’s completely normal. You’ll never need the “right” words with me. If you can feel it, I can shape it.

If something feels off - even if you can’t explain why - we'll work it out until it makes sense to both of us. You can describe it however it feels right to: an emotion, a color, a reference song, anything. With live revisions sessions and unlimited free revisions, we’ll shape it together in real time until it all clicks into place.

Q: What if my ideas clash with your creative input or we have a conflict over revisions?

A: This is your song, not mine. I’ll always be honest with you. If I think something might hurt the mix, I’ll tell you directly and explain why. But I’ll do anything you ask. You make the final call, always.

Even if we disagree, you can trust that I’ll respect your choices and give you exactly what you ask for. At the end of the day, the only version that matters is the one you love.

Q: What if the mix changes my song so much that it no longer feels like mine?

A: Before I touch anything, we’ll get crystal clear on what you want to keep and what you want to change. If there’s a rawness you want to keep, I’ll protect it. If you want it to feel polished but still feel the same, I’ll find that balance.

My job is to bring out everything that made you love your song in the first place. Every choice I make is based on your vision. No matter the package, your song will keep it's soul AND stand tall next to the greats.

Q: I worry I might keep second-guessing the mix and never feel ready to finalize it.

A: You feel this way because you care. That's exactly why I'd love to work with you. Knowing when something’s done can feel impossible when it’s this personal.

I’ll guide you through the decision-making process step by step - helping you hear the track with fresh ears and offering honest feedback along the way. If something still needs work, we’ll fix it. If it’s already where it needs to be, I’ll tell you honestly.

And with unlimited free revisions, there’s no pressure to rush. We’ll take the time to get it right. Perfect on paper, and powerful in your heart.

Q: What if I don’t like the final mix even after multiple revisions?

A: Then you get a full refund. My ultimate goal is for you to feel confident, proud, and excited to share your music with anyone. If at any point it just doesn’t feel right, I’ll give you a full refund on the spot.

I believe in my work. But I don't want you spending money on something you don't like.

After Finalizing the Mix:

Q: Do you offer mastering, or do I need to hire someone else for that?

A: You're fully covered. I provide mastering with every mix I deliver. When you get your final track from me, it’ll be polished, competitive, and ready for release.

If you already have a mastering engineer you trust, that’s totally fine too! I’ll send over a perfect print ready for them to work with. Either way, you won’t be left hanging or scrambling for the next step. I’ll take care of everything - start to finish.

I'd love to help make your creative dreams a reality.
